Conducting
  Drew Orchestra
The classical chamber orchestra at Drew features 25 to 35 student musicians and comprises full strings, winds, classical brass and percussion. The orchestra's repertoire runs the gamut from the Baroque era to the 21st century.

Drew Chorale Prof. Nair conducted the Drew Chorale from 2003 until the end of 2011/12. As part of a titrated retirement plan, he turned the leadership of the Chorale over to Dr. Jason Bishop.
The Chorale is comprised of 30 to 40 singers chosen by annually by audition. The repertoire of the group has traditionally spanned works from the Medieval period into the 21st century.

Prior to giving up the Chorale during his titrated reitrement (2011-13), Prof. Nair had  the Chorale and Orchestra join together to perform a major choral masterwork. Also, both groups often premiere new works by Drew composers.   Click on the poster to see Nair conduct the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah (Drew Orchestra/Chorale) Click Backspace to return to this page.
