A Note on Macs at Drew
Now that we have moved to Microsoft Office, there really isn't very much difference between using a Mac and using a Windows box at Drew. (Well, apart from the usual benefits of using your preferred platform. :-) Put another way, there really isn't any reason not to use a Mac, and in fact that seems to be developing into policy for faculty computers. If you're a Mac user and are up for a new computer, check out those new Macs.

- A hack to improve WordPerfect performance on OS 8 & 9. I haven't tested this, so keep a copy of the WP installer around, or back up your current set-up before installing thing. (Read-me; App) You may also have to apply this patch first, depending on which version of WP is actually installed on your machine. Try the hack first, then apply this if necessary.
