Installing MikTeX and TeXnicCenter:

Connect your computer to the network using your network cable and complete the following tasks. 

 

1)      First install "Basic MiKTeX 2.9" by following the instructions found at the following link: http://miktex.org/2.9/setup

 

2)      Next go the TeXnicCenter page and click on download to download the TeXnicCenter program.
(Accept all the default settings.)

 

3)      Once the program has installed, click on the TeXnicCenter icon on your desktop. You will see:

 

 

 

4)      Click on Next. Then, enter the full path of the directory as shown below.

 

 

 

6)      Click on Next. Accept the defaults in the remaining steps of the Configuration Wizard.

 

You should now be ready to create publication ready mathematics!
