About Michelle LaFrance

I am a Post-Doctoral Writing Fellow in the Department of English at Drew University. My academic work and research are situated in the fields of writing studies, writing in the disciplines/writing across the curriculum, curriculum development, and learning assessment.

My current research interests include: ethnography, non-traditional forms of scholarship (such as documentary film making and qualitative interviewing,) comic books and graphic novels, and Celtic language activism.

I've just moved to the East Coast and am looking forward to learning about New England. I'm also a sucker for vaudeville revivals, the new circus movement, reality tv, hiking and my dogs. In my free time I read historical novels.

I think this is hysterical. So is this.
