These pictures are fairly random, though a good deal are from my time at The Pub. I was a Pub manager through my Sophomore and Junior years, and have returned since then to help out when possible. |

Here is Arif, relaxing after Alumni Weekend 1998. It
was a long weekend, but a fun one. Arif's an awesome guy, a great bartender,
and extremely charismatic. He's either going to be a martyr or a saint
by the time he's thirty.
Here is Jaime, also recovering from that long weekend.
It is quite odd that two years after this picture is taken, I ran into
Arif at what would have been my graduation and he set me up with an apartment
for the summer living with Jaime. Its a small, small world.
Here is Jillian. Same recovery period. She's not a Pub
employee, unlike the rest of the people photographed here, but she sure
helped us that night in cleaning up.
This is the Pub's floor from that night, after we mopped
it. Just check out that killer shine.
Here is Tom McGill, former residence director at Drew.
Also not a Pub employee. Also an incredible help that night.
This is Jaime, Jillian, and Arif. Don't ask. I didn't.
I just took the photo. The look in her eyes scares me.

Alumni weekend, the reason why we were so tired.
Alumni weekend is just one nonstop crowd. The rest of
the year is nothing like those two nights.
Wall to wall happy smiling drinking alumni, talking
about their lives since graduation or their glory days.
We usually shove the tables aside, since there's so
little room to stand.
Here Jaime and Arif scramble to get beers.
We ran out of room, so the alumni spilled out to the
path in front of the Pub. This was before the lighting was installed,
so it got quite dark.
Here I'm looking back toward the Pub from the path outside,
to give you an idea of how serious the spilling out was.
A group of Alumni insisted that I take their photograph
for the web. This picture took two years to get online. I hope they weren't
holding their collective breath.

Alumni weekend can be a long weekend, and not everyone survives. This poor guy didn't, and got to wear a goofy hat as a result. |
I love this shot. All that beer. Lovely beer. And the sign, 'Alphabatize or Die'. The man in the shot is Brian Hughes, the student activities employee who looks over the Pub. |
Brian experiences sudden uncontrollable narcolepsy during
a conversation with Tom and Mary Ellen Manges, a pub manager for the 98-99
season.
At the start of the 98 fall season, a few students couldn't wait to get into the Pub. So they tried knocking the gate down. Failed. Tried pulling the roof down to climb over the gate. Encountered a metal wall. Eventually, they gave up. A small security camera was positioned right next to the lobby. Public Saftey, when they came, had no idea that the camera was there. Ooops. |

Two proud Pubbers from the 98-99 season, posing with
a perfectly constructed half and half. Dan did some fine work there.

Another shot of St.Pauli's.

A fly on a piece of.... garbage.

A few of the Pub's ladies talking.
It was a hopping night.

Random shot from the evening.
The Pub's busiest night was always Thursday. The student
paper, the Acorn, comes out Friday. So on most nights you could walk down
the few feet from the Pub to stare at the newspaper people, hard at work.
The Pub also is a great place to watch a live band perform.
