Fun in the snow!

Snow is not so common in the UK, but here is "Bart," built by my brother, Rick, Harriet and Tom. Nice work guys!

The snow mouse, built on December 14, 2003, started melting before I even finished building him when the snow turned to rain (notice that he has no arms). Minus ears and nose he survived for more than a week in the  freeze that followed and was renamed "stumpy."

The latest addition is the unicorn (by special request) who appeared on February 18, 2003, but sadly melted on the 20th by leaning further and further from the sun until she just gracefully toppled over.  She looked at her best in her last hours, although her icicle horn was a bit truncated.
This is Snr. Gato, who my neighbor declared to be "Bonito."  I made him on the first of our February snow days, February 7, 2003, and the first day he almost caused two SUVs to collide as the drivers stared at him insteasd of the road.  He made an oh-so-cool teen grin as well.

This is Bunny Cool, created on January 20, 2002.  He was quite a hit with the kids in the pre-school across the street from our house, who came across to see him as a group, all holding hands.  (His fingers and toes are baby carrots.

This couple, "M. et Mme?" made in March 1998 in Riverside Park, NY, made it into the New York Times no less (without the builders and helpers--and without our hats).
