What is the crap tier?Early this year, one of my friends decided that he wanted to see just how bad you could make the Pokemon in a tier and still be competitive. The result was the Crap Tier, a list of the absolute worst Pokemon in the game. In this tier, only the very worst can be used, making it different from any other tier. Even in the lowest of NFE competitions, things like Magikarp and Weedle were almost impossible to use. Here they are welcomed with open arms. There are only a very few people who actively play this tier at this point, and if you're interested, please email me and we'll see about getting you contact with the rest of the group. Why this website? The point of this site is twofold: one, to raise awareness and serve as an online center for information on this new unofficial tier. Two, to attempt to analyze and set standards for the Pokemon involved in the tier. Basically, we would like to do the equivalent of what Smogon University does with the regular tiers. Below is a complete listing of the Pokemon allowed in this tier with links to their analysis pages. If you wish to add something to a Pokemon's page, contact me and we'll discuss it. Since the point of this site is to document the good/common strategies a Pokemon can use, we are open to anything that works! The complete list of allowed Pokemon
The following Pokemon are being tested for inclusion.
Who does this and where does it happen?Battles are done at level 100 on the online Pokemon battle simulator Shoddy Battle on the Smogon University server. Standard clauses are Sleep Clause, Evasion Clause, Freeze Clause and Species Clause. We are working on a standard time for those of us participating to be available there so that more battling takes place.
