The Bertrand Russell Society: Publications

1. Members of the Russell Society receive three different publications with their membership. One is the Society’s own Bertrand Russell Society Quarterly, edited by Rosalind Carey and John Ongley. Those interested in submitting articles to it should contact Rosalind at: rosalind.carey@lehman.cuny.edu.

2. Members also receive biannually Russell: The Journal of Bertrand Russell Studies, published by the Bertrand Russell Archives at McMaster University. Contents are available online, though the most recent five years are available online only to subscribers, including members of the Russell Society. For further information about Russell, or to submit articles, contact the journal's editor, Kenneth Blackwell, at: blackwk@mcmaster.ca.

3. Finally, members of the Russell Society receive the annual Newsletter of the Bertrand Russell Research Centre at McMaster University, where The Collected Papers of Bertrand Russell are edited. The BRRC Newsletter keeps the Russell world up-to-date on work on the Collected Papers.

4. The Society Library sells books by and about Russell and back issues of the BRS Quarterly to the public and lends books, papers and videos by and about Russell to Russell Society members. It also has a members area where members can listen to audio files and view video files of Russell's radio and televison interviews and debates. Contact Society Librarian Tom Stanley at tjstanley@myfairpoint.net for more information about this service.

5. Links to online books and articles by Russell as well as online articles about Russell along with other online Russell resources are maintained by the Society.

6. The history of the BRS pages include a members-only archive of past Society Newsletters and Quarterlies. (Members may obtain a password from Dennis Darland at dennis.darland@yahoo.com.)

7. The Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation in London publishes The Spokesman, which contains articles on peace and nuclear disarmament, human rights and civil liberties, and contemporary politics.
